I am thrilled to share Super Color Fashionistic's first shoot with Danielle Guenther! This past week she creatively captured of one of my favorite fall outfits. Stay tuned for more fun fashion shoots with my talented partner and be sure to check out her family photography!
Color, texture, layers, and detail. I'm describing what I feel makes up a great outfit. Don't be afraid to mix textures and patterns. Plaid, fur, denim and leather are all very strong textures and patterns on their own- but when you pull pieces from your wardrobe by color, you can layer them easily.
I started by desperately wanting to wear this reversible rabbit fur vest by Love Token. (it's an extra 40% off this weekend!!). On the way home from apple picking with my family, I somehow convinced James to stop at Woodbury Commons for 45 minutes and scored this vest that I have been eyeing in a boutique at a much higher price (thanks Woodbury Commons).
I then grabbed one of my favorite plaid shirts by Rails, (similar style here) which gave the vest a more casual look and paired them with my favorite bottoms from DL1961 (They are from last season and are only available in limited sizes.)
I layered my favorite bracelets (most from Stella and Dot, Madewell and a local Hoboken boutique) and my bag is an older style from Elliot Lucca, but this one from Zara would add a whole new dimension to your look.
How amazing are these photos? Thank you Danielle! Jump over and 'like' her page to follow her updates.
