It was a frigid day in Brooklyn but the excitement from Chloe and Ethan getting to ride Jane's Carousel was contagious, and we had a blast spending a good hour warming up inside the beautiful glass enclosure while Danielle captured some family photos for us. We then walked around the Dumbo area of Brooklyn and swore we'd be back for many more shoots since it was so beautiful and artfully inspiring. IMG_8847

I grabbed this bag recently on a visit to Marshall's. I was so excited about the black and blue color combo, and even more excited about the price, $29.99! (also available here) It's Rachel by Rachel Roy and I went on her website to find other pieces from her collection to add to my wish list and found this one!

These have quickly become my favorite booties and go with so many different things- jeans, skirts, dresses, leggings...and they're comfortable! Go grab a pair. (Here)

I got this necklace as a gift a couple of years ago from Nordstrom and I wear it often. Marcasite is one of my favorite stones, for reasons being that it sparkles, it's simple, and it's affordable. You can take a statement necklace like this and dress it up with a great black dress or put it with a simple tee and cozy cardigan.

My jeans are one of my favorite brands, Blank denim. They have an awesome ombre affect going on. Blank never disappoints with their dedication to fun design. My boucle sweater is by Dolan which is another great designer that mixes lots of textures and different fabrics to create unique pieces. This one also happens to have a zipper close to the bottom of the jacket so you can make it shorter simply by unzipping the panel off of the bottom.

Mackage is by far, my most favorite outwear designer. I got my first coat by them about 9 years ago, and this one is going on it's 3rd winter season. The quality, design, and comfort make this a designer that will always be who I turn to for my winter coats.

Stay warm, and thanks for reading.
