It was one of those days when you just want to throw on a pair of jeans. These happen to be 'Thompson cut' by Citizens of Humanity. My accessories really pulled it all together. Like a kid in a candy store, I had wandered into AaRaa earlier in the week and found many great pieces that I know I will be wearing many times with different outfits. Danielle and I decided to meet up at one of our new favorite spots in Hoboken.....
... the newly opened A'Putia Sicilian Cafe owned by Karen Nason of the Hot House (and now Hot House 2). Make sure to try one of their insanely fresh, and decadent cannolis. The ingredients just so happen to be shipped from Sicily!
When you wander through their gorgeous little patio and garden area you'll find incredible furniture, art and decor for sale.
This bag, can convert into a small shoulder bag, or remain as a clutch. It's great for running errands or adding a bit of bling to your date night ensemble. The large gold cuff is such an eye catcher. I love how the leaves add texture to it and make it more than just a plain cuff. I layered the buddha and crystal skull bracelet with the cuff because in my opinion you can never have too many bracelets. The colors all work well together and tie in with the print and palette of the scarf. I saw this ring and thought it would be great with the bag and compliment the gold cuff and studs on the purse. When you're putting on accessories, there really is no formula, but if you mix similar colors and metals the look always tends to render more cohesive.
My boots are by Cole Haan and about 4 years old. They have the Nike Air technology soles that literally make you wonder how a heeled boot can be so comfortable. If you're in the market for a pair, I think these are gorgeous and even better since they're on sale!
