I'll be the first to admit, I don't get a chance to wear skirts often. But a vacant alley in New York City seemed like a great place to wear this one.
My jacket is by Blank (on sale!) and is a great piece to layer with. My skirt was a Christmas gift from my Mom (thanks Mom!) from Anthropologie, and I love the colors, pattern and funky peplum it has going on. While once again, this style is sold out due to their fabulous end of season sale, here and here are two great styles you might also like.
My shoes are old Via Spiga's that I've blogged about before. Here's a pair with a similar color story that I also like.
My top was a fun find at a boutique called Poco Paradiso in the city (97 Spring street). I love the "lizard" like inspired sleeve. This would also look great with distressed jeans and pumps, studded sneakers, or even a pair of converse.
My belt is from about 3 years ago from Jcrew. You don't always have to wear a belt the natural way. This specific belt is a bit bigger since I bought it to fit at my hips. To wear with this skirt, I moved the prong to the side and wrapped it and made a simple "knot".
