mod cup

Lately I've found coffee to be a sort of comfort to my daily routine. I'd like to think that our grind/brew and better than decent beans, make a mean cup, but when we stopped by Mod Cup's newest location, owners Travas and Justin taught my taste buds what insanely fresh coffee tastes like. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and go to Mod Cup (479 Palisade Ave in Jersey City Heights) for just that, a perfect cup of coffee. Matched with friendly personalities and a killer space, it's not just your tastebuds that are awakened.

My coat, from Zara and scarf from Target, are sold out, but here and here are similar styles you might like.

I pulled from my  Feb 9th shopping trip to Target to show how to take an affordable look from day...

My cardigan is by Peter Pilotto for Target and I put it together with a simple black tank from Gap and my favorite distressed AG jeans.  (here's a more wallet friendly version)

I put a pair of black tights under my jeans for warmth (c'mon spring!), and finished off the look with the versatile Sutton from Stella and Dot. (I didn't wear the sparkle strand that comes with it, just yet).

...to night. Here I did a quick change to show you how to take the look to night- different shoes (similar style here),  a fun clutch (similar here), a bit more bling (Moondance and Renegade bracelets from Stella and Dot and enter sparkle stand on the Sutton) and a dressier bottom from the Peter Pilotto for Target collection.
